Carl is one of the most exciting producers / mixers coming out of the UK right now.

Having spent the early part of his life as a musician, he quickly released it was production where he wanted to be. The first steps into production came at the age of 12, where he started recording his own band on his grandfather’s 1/4 inch reel tape machine. Carl was immediately hooked on producing music. This then progressed on to the making demos and albums for various bands among the local scene, with Carl’s reputation continuing to grow. Carl further continued his development, working with the experienced Colin Richardson on numerous project.

Carl has spent years working hard on a passion of his, which is continuing to see his reputation go from strength to strength. On top of this, Carl owns 2 fantastically equipped recording and mixing studios, which he works from. The days of original guerrilla recording have left a great imprint and foundation on Carl’s abillty to make the most out of all situations.

In 2010 He was nominated for The MPG “Breakthrough Producer of the year” for his production on Fightstar’s “Be Human” – a critically acclaimed and highly ambitious fully orchestrated rock album. Since then he has gone on to make many highly acclaimed records both in the UK and America for bands such as Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium and While She Sleeps.

Eager to keep evolving as a producer Carl has really enjoyed his work for Synth Wave Pioneers Gunship and was recently asked to produce and mix Busted’s first recording at Abbey Road Studios since their massively successful come back to the main stream.
